Chief Editor

Dario Salerno is Associate Professor of Banking and Finance at the University of Naples Parthenope and Adjunct Professor at Luiss Guido Carli. He is also Adjunct Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business, New York University, where he also served as a Visiting Exchange Professor. He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Business, Climate Change, and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh. His research and teaching activities lie at the intersection of financial innovation, sustainable finance, and banking systems, with a strong focus on climate-related risks and the resilience of financial markets. Prof. Salerno holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance with a European Doctorate Label from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His international academic experience includes research and teaching appointments at NYU Stern, the University of Glasgow, and the City College of New York. He is the Principal Investigator of a European-funded PRIN PNRR 2022 project aimed at integrating climate-related risks into macro-financial stability assessments. His scholarly contributions have been widely published in leading international journals, including Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Financial Stability, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting. He is Co-founder and Board Member of the research initiative FinClimate Lab, Global Advisory Member of the Oxford Impact Group (UK), and actively engaged in postgraduate education through programs such as the MEIM Master’s Program in collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management and the Financial and Risk Management Master jointly organized with the University of Bologna and Our Lady of Good Counsel University. Prof. Salerno also serves as Associate Editor or Guest Editor for several peer-reviewed journals and is the author of the book “The Evolution of Sustainable Investments and Finance.” Beyond academia, he has served as consultant for Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking and the Italian Banking Association (ABI), advising on sustainable finance, thematic investment strategies, and fintech applications in asset management and risk profiling.

Il processo di pubblicazione prevede che le proposte superino la valutazione del Comitato scientifico che è composto da accademici e studiosi di consolidata reputazione, affiliati a diverse Università nazionali e internazionali e a Istituti di ricerca e specializzati nelle diverse aree di studio nell’ambito dell’area tematica principale.

The publication process

The publication process requires that proposals pass the evaluation of the Scientific Committee, which is composed of academics and scholars of consolidated reputation, affiliated with various national and international universities and research institutes and specialized in various areas of study within the main thematic area.
