Within the context of our increasingly digital society, this volume delves into the burgeoning subject of digital techniques, which have become increasingly important. The "digital turn" has resulted in the emergence of new paradigms in the field of social sciences, fueled by the enormous amount of data produced by our digital footprints. Nevertheless, this new environment poses a unique set of issues regarding epistemology, philosophy of technology, and ethics. It is necessary to modify and incorporate conventional research procedures to efficiently investigate phenomena within the digital world. The various research practices and methods available to researchers are discussed in depth in this volume, with particular emphasis on their strengths in studying digital phenomena and accessing hard-to-reach populations.
