Contemporary firms encounter significant challenges arising from exponential technological advancement, transformative innovation, global dynamics, and fundamental questions regarding the boundaries between humans and machines. As breakthrough innovations rapidly reshape industries and societies, a central challenge emerges: how can organisations navigate these transformative frontiers responsibly? The colour “red” functions as the book’s central metaphor, signalling both the warning indicators present at extreme boundaries and the bold spaces — conceptual, virtual, and physical — where innovative firms and global ventures must make strategic decisions. The book examines three interrelated domains. The first 'red' domain addresses the longevity paradox. The second domain explores the abundance dilemma, a paradox that challenges conventional assumptions about energy scarcity and sustainability. The third domain investigates the boundaries of human emotion, creativity, and authentic experience. This volume integrates the perspectives of scholars and practitioners to advance interdisciplinary knowledge in innovation and management. It seeks to foster rigorous dialogue that bridges theory and practice. The book is intended for academic and professional audiences, contributing theoretically to the literature on digital transformation in management studies. From a managerial perspective, it provides guidance for managers, entrepreneurs on navigating transformative frontiers responsibly, including how to purposefully govern innovation by determining which trajectories merit acceleration, which require strategic adjustment, and which may necessitate explicit limitations.
